We should like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in our first ever business challenge event:
Teams from companies across York (including York Marriott, Shepherd Construction, Royal Mail, Garbutt & Elliott, Dickinson Dees and, of course, St Leonard’s Hospice) went head-to-head against each other in a series of activities including mud buggies, blindfold driving, perspex rifles and Sky Walk!
All indications are that the event has so far raised more than £3500 for St Leonard’s and this figure is likely to keep rising!
Some teams are still collecting with paper sponsor forms and the teams’ sponsorship websites will all remain open until 20 November 2007 so if you are impressed at what they achieved (we are!) then please make a donation on their Just Giving sites listed below:

The winning team on the day was Royal Mail’s Rascals with Dickinson Dees (Double D’s) taking the second place position and Garbutt & Elliott’s Dream Team (Team 2) taking the third spot.
