Tribute Pages

What is a St Leonard’s Hospice Tribute Page?

When someone close to you has died, a St Leonard’s Hospice Tribute Page is a perfect way of celebrating their life.  You can create a tribute page in your loved ones name which is yours to personalise as you wish, allowing family, friends, colleagues and neighbours to donate or fundraise in their honour.

How will my Tribute Page grow?

Once you have created your Tribute Page, you can add to it as often as you wish.  There are no minimum donations, timelines or targets – it is entirely up to you.  For example:
  • mark a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or Christmas
  • set up a regular donation or standing order
  • fundraise by taking part in sponsored events, such as the York 10K, Midnight Walk, Yorkshire Marathon, St Leonard’s Challenge Walk etc or by participating in other challenge events
  • alternatively, some people may prefer to organise coffee mornings or other more intimate events with family and friends.
No matter how the funds are raised, they will all be displayed on your dedicated Tribute Page.  This will also show any offline donations such as those received in lieu of flowers.

How will you help me manage my Tribute Page?

Once a Tribute Page has been created, St Leonard’s Hospice will send you confirmation and will always be on hand to offer support and encouragement and suggest fundraising ideas.

Can I set up a Tribute Page in memory of someone who was not cared for by the Hospice?

Yes of course.  Anyone can set up a Tribute Page in memory of a loved one and all funds raised will go towards the work of the Hospice.
