Peter Bason.

Peter was born and raised in Doncaster, later moving to Camblesforth, Selby where he enjoyed married life with wife Lynne, 2 children Sally and Frances and Grandchildren Lucy, Daniel, Jack and Brad. He spent the majority of his working life as a mechanical fitter at Eggborough Power Station then in later life started his own gardening business. He loved golf, snooker and a good few pints with his mates. In 2010 Peter was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, a terminal cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. He spent his last few weeks at St Leonards where he was cared for to the highest standard. He sadly lost his battle on 21st December 2010. This tribute page has been set up to remember a great guy, loved and missed by many.
