Fundraising

Every year we face the huge challenge of ensuring enough support is generated from our community to help meet the running costs of the Hospice.

Our care is free of charge to patients and their families but not free to provide. As a charity we rely heavily on the generosity of the public to raise over £5 million each year to run St Leonard's Hospice. This equates to £574 for every hour of the day. Although St Leonard's does receive some public funding, the majority of the running costs have to be raised from the local community through donations, legacies, fundraising events and support for our 12 shops.

Support St Leonard's in the following ways:

Calendar of Events
We have a busy and exciting Calendar of Events with a variety of activities with something for everyone to enjoy.

If you're a business, why not take care of all those spare coins with one of our Collecting Boxes. Alternatively, our loose change boxes are a handy size for your kitchen table or desk top. For further information, contact Sue Edwards on 01904 777777 or sue.edwards@stleonardshospice.nhs.uk.
