Friends of St Leonard's Groups

We are looking to set up ‘Friends of St Leonard’s Hospice’ groups around the area, specifically in Selby and Tadcaster or anywhere in Ryedale, however we'd love to hear from anyone looking to start or join a group locally to them.

It’s an opportunity to get together with people in the local area and get involved in a whole host of activities to support the work of the Hospice. Supporters can get involved in any way they see fit, and give as much or as little time as they can. It could be anything from organising fundraising activities, lending a hand at events, distributing collection boxes to local businesses or simply representing the Hospice in their area.

It is a great way to do something different together, and all for a well-loved local cause. It is all about like-minded people getting together to do some good in their community. Community support is vital to St Leonard’s so by getting involved you will be making a real difference to local people affected by life-limiting illness.

Members will be given lots of support and resources, and a tour of the Hospice. If you are interested in joining the group, or would like to partake in some fundraising of your own, please contact Helen Rook on helen.rook@stleonardshospice.nhs.uk or 01904 777 777 for Selby, Tadcaster and East Yorkshire or Kathryn Craven on kathryn.craven@stleonardshospice.nhs.uk or 01904 777 777 for Ryedale. If you don't fall into either category, email either person!
