My World Has Exploded a Little Bit

My World Has Exploded a Little Bit has been described as 'a genuinely valuable piece of work that could prove useful to a great many people if it reaches the larger audience it deserves.' (Scotsman)

And you can see it for yourself this month at York Theatre Royal.

Bella Heesom’s beautiful, brutal play is part true story, part farcical performance lecture. It tells a deeply personal story of loss and love, through a darkly comic guide to bereavement, mixing tender intimacy and radical honesty with hard-hitting philosophy, clownish silliness and live music.

This constantly surprising show promises to take audiences on a powerful emotional journey, shot through with jet black comedy. Performed by Bella Heesom and Eva Alexander, and directed by Olivier Award-winner Donnacadh O’Briain.

See it at the Theatre Royal on Saturday 28th April at 7:45pm. Tickets are £12.50 and available from the York Theatre Royal website
