We can talk -

…to your school or group about St Leonard’s Hospice, and how you can play a valuable roll in helping with our work.

By allowing the children to learn about your local hospice you will help enormously – they will learn what a hospice is really about. People don’t always understand the term ‘hospice’ and you can help to change that!

Our interactive presentation is suitable for an assembly or classroom entitled ‘What is a Hospice’, which is appropriate to the age group and can be tailored to specific topics. The aim is to provide information about the work of St Leonard’s and its vital role in the community, working in line with the National Curriculum and in a way children will understand.

Plan your own!

Lenny collects! No time to organise a fundraising event? Why not take one of our loose change boxes, once the boxes are full they can be returned to St Leonard’s. Why not ask your school children to take home a box, once they are full we can come and collect them from your school. Simple and a great way for us to fundraise!

Recycle your unwanted items!

Considering having a clear out for Christmas? Why not donate your unwanted items, such as clothes, toys, bric-a-brac and books for us to sell in our charity shops. Do this by yourself or choose a day and we can arrange for our drivers to come and visit your school and take all the items away for you!

We put the fun in fundraising!

Lenny and friends at Rawcliffe SchoolThe Fundraising team run lots of fun events too, including fairs, walks, street collections and fashion shows. Please feel free to come along or you can help us if you want – to sell tickets, leaflet drop, volunteer or shake a collection tub.

If you think you could help us in any way please get in touch by e-mail or by calling 01904 77 77 77 – we look forward hearing from you.
