Almost 550 people took part in this year's Midnight Walk, held on 18 June. They were welcomed to the starting and finishing point at York College by Fanfare Brass and were encouraged for the Walk by Hospice mascot Lenny Bear. The 6.5 miles of the Walk were done in drizzle, which didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the walkers, who were greeted on their return with the smell and taste of barbecued bacon.
Thank you to everyone who walked, and to everyone who sponsored them. Final figures are not yet in, but we hope to have raised an amount equal to last year's record of £30,000.
