There are some exciting changes for our 2012 Midnight Walk, which will take place on Saturday 23rd June 2012
For the first year ever, we shall be staging a ‘women only’ event; this is in line with most of the other hospices throughout the country. Research has shown that women-only walks attract more walkers and raise more money for their hospices.
To let them down lightly, any men who have taken part in any of our previous walks will be offered the opportunity to walk for one final time this year!
The second change is that te event will have two routes, both starting and finishing at the same point. There will be a ten-mile route for those who are up for a challenge, and a gentler five-mile route for the less energetic!
And thirdly – we’re having a theme! So come - on sharpen those horns, dust off those halos and get into the party mood with our Angels and Demons theme.
Finally, we still need men! We desperately need husbands, partners, boyfriends, sons and friends to help us set up, marshal and encourage our ladies throughout the night - and then tidy up with us at the end!
