Welcome to St Leonard’s Hospice, York

St Leonard's Hospice is a registered charity caring for people with life-threatening illnesses - often, though not always, cancer.

Our skilled and specially-trained staff offer daycare at the Hospice for people living in their own homes and in-patient palliative care in a purpose-built unit with 20 beds.

WE NEVER MAKE A CHARGE TO PATIENTS OR THEIR FAMILIES. We rely almost entirely on DONATIONS, LEGACIES and FUNDRAISING

Your donation will help us continue our vital work and meet our £2.6 million annual running costs.

Volunteer

Volunteers are a vital part of our care. We have volunteers in every part of the Hospice - helping to care for patients, in the kitchen, as hairdressers, in the gardens, working in the shops. Last year our volunteers put in more than 48,000 hours - worth getting on for £500,000 of time.

Why not join them? It's worthwhile - and often great fun! Call the Volunteers' Office on 01904 77 77 65
