Welcome to St Leonard’s Hospice, York

St Leonard's Hospice is a registered charity caring for people with life-threatening illnesses - often, though not always, cancer.

Our skilled and specially-trained staff offer in-patient palliative care in a purpose-built unit with 20 beds and Daycare at the Hospice for people living in their own homes. We are also running a pilot Hospice@Home service.

    Volunteer

Volunteers are a vital part of our care. We have volunteers in every part of the Hospice - helping to care for patients, in the kitchen, as hairdressers, in the gardens, working in the shops. Last year our volunteers put in more than 48,000 hours.

Why not join them? It's worthwhile - and often great fun! Call the Volunteers' Office on 01904 77 77 65
