Thank you for your donation to St Leonard's Hospice. The hospice staff provided invaluable support over Lynda's last year through the community palliative care team, and exemplary individualised care from the hospice at home nurses during Lynda's last days. This allowed her to die at home, with dignity, surrounded by loved ones. Lynda will be sorely missed by a great many people, yet has told us all not to be "too sad for too long" and to continue living full lives. So raise a glass in her honour and do as she wished.

You can shed tears that Lynda is gone or you can smile because she has lived. You can close your eyes and pray she’ll come back or you can open your eyes and see all that she’s left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her or you can be full of the love you shared. You can remember her and only that she’s gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on. Dearest Lynda, we all are extremely sad to have lost you. However, like a brilliant star you will continue to shine upon us long after you are gone.
