A much loved Husband, Father, and Grandpa to six Grandchildren, Paul loved life and fought with remarkable bravery for every moment. He traveled all across the world, even living in Spain for a few years where he met many good friends. But regardless of where he was, he was always first and foremost, a proud Yorkshireman always returning home to the City he loved, York. A city which embodied his two main passions, the railways and above all Rugby. He really loved his Rugby. Whether as a player or a supporter nothing would keep Paul from enjoying a match, even when he was very ill he still managed to get out and enjoy a guinness and a game. But if there was one thing that Paul loved more than Rugby it was his family and friends. There's nothing Paul wouldn't do for you and he always put the needs and wants of others before his own. Kind, loving and generous to a fault Paul really was a wonderful man, sorely missed by all of us that new and loved him I would like to give special thanks to everyone at St Leonnards Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Paul and his family, and to all his friends and loved ones who have given so generously, Thank You, Paul would be truly humbled.
