A patient's thoughts on recording his audio biography

We were recently visited by Emma and Rory from BBC Radio York who were interested in finding out more about our work with Hospice Biographers, and the new service we are offering our patients: the opportunity to make an audio recording to leave behind for their loved ones.

Hospice Biographers is a charity which enables this. They provide free training and equipment and our trained staff and volunteers have now been recording patients' voices for nearly a year.

Michael is one of those patients and he was interviewed by BBC Radio York to find out how he feels about the project and what it will mean to his family.
