Hospice Nurses Awarded First Class Degrees

Alison Skelton, Senior Sister for Hospice@Home and Jade Marshall, Staff Nurse, were awarded the first class degrees in BSc (Hons) Health Science at a graduation ceremony on Thursday 26th July. Emma Johnson, Director of Clinical Services at St Leonard's Hospice said: "I am really proud of them both. They have worked incredibly hard to achieve this alongside working at the Hospice and providing outstanding care for our patients.

It is really important to us to support the continuing professional development of our staff, both to improve the care our patients receive but also to retain excellent staff at the Hospice. We are delighted to have been able to support them through their study and are even more delighted with their success and fantastic achievement. Well done and congratulations to them both."
