New Shop in Easingwold Opening February

The new charity shop at 25 Chapel Street in February and will be confirming the exact opening date soon. The shop, which will bring the total to 13 St Leonard’s Hospice shops, will stock good quality, second-hand clothing, accessories, books, media and electronics.

It will be open for donations on Tuesday 29th January between 9am and 4pm – a great opportunity to enquire about volunteering opportunities and donate unwanted items to support the new shop.

We have already received lots of support from the people and businesses of Easingwold, as retail manager Helen Moreton explains: “We are delighted to be opening a shop in a brand new location for us. We have had so much excitement and support from the Easingwold community already and we are incredibly grateful for that. Our charity shops are a vital part of St Leonard’s Hospice as they consistently raise over half a million pounds per year that goes to support patient care, so every donation or purchase really does help.”

The Hospice are also advertising job vacancies for the shop manager, deputy manager and retail assistant for the new job on their website – closing date Friday 25th January.

If you are interested in volunteering at this new shop, pop in on Tuesday or contact the retail team on 01904 788 777.
