  • Practical assistance and advice
  • Advice about welfare benefits
  • Assistance with benefit or grant applications
  • Working with local authorities, housing departments and voluntary organisations
  • Arranging for solicitors to visit regarding wills or Lasting Power of Attorney
  • Assisting with discharge planning
Supporting Children

Children are always welcome at the Hospice. We have
  • A children’s room for supervised play
  • A family room for relaxation, family support or guided play
  • Help and advice for parents supporting children who are coping with illness and loss of a family member
  • Children’s books on illness and loss
  • Advice and assistance with creating Memory Boxes
  • Play activities to explore thoughts and feelings
